Job Summary

Senior UX Designer who thrives on simplifying complexity and works across the full product lifecycle—from concept through production—bringing intuitive, integrated experiences to users of heavy equipment and industrial software.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead Human‑Centered Design activities from discovery through implementation.
  • Partner with Product Managers to define customer problems, identify opportunities, and influence product strategy.
  • Design user journeys, interaction models, workflows, and information architecture across machine, application, and connected experiences.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, interaction specifications, and production‑ready design documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering to ensure design intent is successfully implemented.
  • Facilitate workshops and design sessions that align cross‑functional teams around customer needs.
  • Advocate for Human‑Centered Design throughout the product development process.
  • Contribute to and evolve design systems, interaction patterns, and UX best practices.
  • Mentor designers and foster a collaborative design culture.
Required Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Professional experience in User Experience, Product Design, Human‑Centered Design, or a related field.
  • Experience designing complex software, digital products, or connected systems.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating systems thinking and end‑to‑end design process.
  • Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams including Product Management and Engineering.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Experience creating prototypes, user flows, journey maps, and design specifications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience designing products that combine hardware and software.
  • Familiarity with Human‑Machine Interface (HMI) design principles.
  • Experience with embedded systems or resource‑constrained platforms.
  • Experience designing enterprises, industrial, manufacturing, robotics, construction, mining, agriculture, or automotive products.
  • Experience with connected products and digital ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with design systems and scalable component libraries.
  • Experience using customer research and analytics to inform design decisions.
Nice to Have
  • Human Machine Interface (HMI) experience.
  • Embedded software or firmware experience.
  • Industrial equipment or heavy machinery experience.
  • Internet of Things (IoT) or connected product experience.
  • Motion design or interaction animation.
  • Accessibility expertise.
  • Design systems or Design Ops experience.
