The Junior Landscape Architect/Designer supports the Design Studio in developing thoughtful, creative, and constructible landscape design solutions for residential and commercial projects. Working under the guidance of senior landscape architects and designers, design consultants and project managers, this role contributes to the design process through site analysis, conceptual design, design development, drafting, planting design, construction documents, and permitting. The position also supports bid coordination estimating, and construction proposal assembly, helping translate design concepts into well-developed, accurately priced projects while gaining valuable professional experience in landscape architecture and landscape construction.

• Collaborate with senior designers and project managers through all phases of the design process, from concept development through construction documentation and installation to ensure the client's vision is expressed throughout the entire design and installation phase.
• Participate in on-site project meetings to perform necessary phases of the design process and collaborate with other team members, internal departments including sales, construction, and property improvement teams to support project objectives.
• Assist with interpretation of permit requirements and applications.
• Manage a variety of projects while delivering design-driven solutions with the ability to communicate them through hand sketches, AutoCAD drawings, renderings, and other graphic presentations.
• Support the estimating process by gathering and organizing project information, quantities, pricing, and subcontractor/vendor bids.
• Assemble construction proposals, including scope of work, pricing, alternates, and supporting documentation.
• Grow your network by developing relationships with industry professionals through industry associations and networking partners. This may require hours worked outside normal business hours.
