Architectural Designer​/Cabinetry & Kitchen Designer

Centered By Design is looking for exceptional talent to join our team. CBD offers a flexible work environment, autonomy, and no limit to what you can achieve. This full-time position is based in Glencoe,Illinois but allows for partial WFH hours. Light travel is also required for out of state events and projects.

• Managing multiple high-end residential client projects (5-8) at different phases, shepherding the client from design development through to completion of construction and final installation.
• Focus on architectural drawings, kitchen design and cabinetry drawings in AutoCAD and Pro Kitchens.
• Collaborating with Lead Designer/s and Principal Designer weekly.
• Managing ongoing project deliverables for clients, contractors, architects and builders.
• Managing junior designers or project managers and procurement team.
• Finish and fixtures selections and specifications for high-end kitchen and bath remodeling projects.
• Develop technical drawings, design boards and other visual communication techniques to communicate and sell an overall design concept.
• Keen ability to get clients to trust you and make decisions and move projects forward with success and client satisfaction in mind.
• Manage project budgets in excess of 1M and multi-year timelines..
• Develop construction documents, elevation drawings, millwork drawings, plumbing and electrical schematics, details, schedules and specs.
• Project management and administration throughout construction.
