This on-site facility in Shiloh, Illinois provides inpatient and emergency room obstetric and gynecologic services to the regional patient population, recording 364 annual deliveries. The facility maintains established clinical protocols and structured workflows to support continuous care delivery across all assigned coverage periods. Clinical operations are conducted in accordance with 24-hour in-house call coverage requirements under a 1 MD coverage model.
About the Facility LocationShiloh, Illinois is a residential community in the Metro East area, situated in close proximity to St. Louis attractions including the Zoo, museums, theaters, and the Gateway Arch, with professional baseball, hockey, and football venues within minutes. The area supports an active lifestyle with nearby hunting, fishing, camping, and boating opportunities, as well as golf courses, two YMCAs within 5 miles, and Bear Lake State Park.
Clinicians on assignment will also find access to numerous colleges and universities and over 300,000 square feet of commercial property in the surrounding region.
This opportunity offers single MD coverage with BC required. Physicians work 24-hour in-house call shifts, with one physician on at a time. There are currently 10 shifts per month available. In addition, the position includes 4-hour in-house call shifts. The facility averages approximately 364 deliveries per year.
