BJC Medical Group is offering a unique inpatient cardiology opportunity designed for cardiologists seeking balance without sacrificing impact. We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Cardiologist to join our inpatient cardiology team in a weekday-focused role at Memorial Hospital Belleville.

This position is intentionally structured as an alternative to traditional cardiology hospitalist models and is designed to support consistency, and long-term sustainability. Unlike many traditional hospitalist models, this role offers allowed time off, and dedicated CME days
, providing flexibility to schedule time away when it's most convenient for you
. This structure creates intentional, protected time off throughout the year while maintaining a consistent weekly schedule
—resulting in more reliable and uninterrupted personal time.

Physicians in this role provide inpatient cardiology care on a Monday through Friday schedule, offering a great work-life balance with limited weekends.

• Join a growing team of 3 interventional cardiologists, 4 non-interventional cardiologists and 3 APPs
• Inpatient cardiology coverage on a Monday-Friday schedule

• Two-year guaranteed salary, transitioning to a productivity-based wRVU compensation model
