Cardiac Electrophysiologist

UChicago Medicine Advent Health Bolingbrook, Glen Oaks, Hinsdale and La Grange hospitals are seeking a dynamic and energetic cardiac electrophysiologist to join Advent Health Medical Group Cardiology. The incoming physician will help grow the Electrophysiology team in collaboration with specialists in interventional cardiology, non-invasive cardiology, and CT surgeons. This role features a mix of outpatient and inpatient procedures, hospital rounding, and shared call coverage with practice partners.

Practice Info

• Affiliated with UChicago Medicine and Advent Health
• Practice full spectrum electrophysiology including pacemakers, ICDs, CRTS, SVT ablation, a fib ablations and VT/PVC ablation
• EP Physicians participate in General Cardiology call rotation
• Hospital Rounding, Consults/Admissions, OP Clinic and procedures
• Hospital coverage:
  Hinsdale, La Grange and Bolingbrook
• Outpatient and Inpatient procedures at Hinsdale Hospital;
  Inpatient cases only at La Grange and Bolingbrook Hospitals
• EP procedures in advanced EP lab

Responsibilities

• Help continue to grow our Electrophysiology team in association with our specialists in interventional cardiology, non-invasive cardiology and CT surgeons
• Provide general cardiology along with EP
• Share call coverage in rotation with practice partners and other community cardiology physicians

Compensation

• Annual Salary: $700K - $850k

Requirements

• Board Certification in Internal Medicine with subspecialty board certification in Cardiovascular Disease
• Formal fellowship in Electrophysiology also required
• High caliber, quality focused, innovative physicians should apply
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential
• New graduates or experienced physicians welcome to apply
• Completion of ACGME approved Electrophysiology Fellowship
• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Electrophysiology
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
