Starting Salary: $54,827- $61,680 (DOQ)
Job Overview: Share your passion for environmental and outdoor education with others through school field trips, public programming, and special events. Develop, promote, and implement educational programs for various audiences throughout the County at Conservation District sites and facilities.
What are we looking for? Someone with passion and knowledge for the outdoors and environmental education who can make a difference through positive interaction with others in various age groups in a professional manner. Due to the overarching responsibilities of designing, implementing, coordinating, administering, and evaluating education programs, this individual must be organized with strong verbal and written communication skills. There will be some required work that involves evening and weekend events or programs.
Lastly, we are also looking for someone with a Bachelor s degree in Environmental Education and/or Interpretation, Outdoor Education, or related field and a minimum of one (1) year of related experience in environmental/ education program delivery. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be substituted for a bachelor s degree.

A valid driver s license is required; pre-employment drug screening is required due to driving being essential to the job.
