High School Science Teacher

Duties

Warren CUSD 205 is seeking a high science teacher who will collaborate with the staff to deliver a rigorous 9-12th grade science curriculum utilizing differentiated methods of instruction and assessment. The selected candidate must be of high moral and ethical character, a team player, a desire to make a difference, the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues toward continuous improvement, and demonstrate a positive, growth oriented mindset.

Classes to be taught:
Biology, Advanced Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Physical Science

Qualifications

Candidates should have the proper Professional Educator License and be qualified to teach science to students in grades 9 - 12 in Illinois.

Salary/Benefits

Salary will be determined by previous experience and education. The District pays 100% of single health insurance and TRS. For any teacher who desires health insurance beyond single insurance, the District pays 70% of the desired package.

The position will be filled once a qualified candidate is found and a potential signing and retention may be offered for this position.
