Purpose:
Substitute for permanent teacher.
* Instructs, follows lesson plans, and assesses student knowledge on behalf of the permanent teacher;
* Maintains a well-structured educational environment;
* Monitors students when needed;
* Maintains professional licensure and development;
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Must maintain valid Ohio substitute teacher license or higher.
Must demonstrate Advanced level on the Sign Language Proficiency Interview (SLPI) within one year of hire, Intermediate level minimum for hiring.
