Summary

Shawnee Community College is seeking qualified and passionate educators to join our Mathematics & Science Adjunct Instructor Pool. This pool will support instructional needs in a range of part-time, temporary teaching assignments, which may be offered during the day, evening, weekend, or in hybrid/online formats.

Adjunct instructors may be assigned to teach in one or more of the following subject areas offered at SCC:

* Astronomy

* Biology

* Chemistry

* Geography

* Mathematics

* Physics

PAY

$600 per credit hour

Qualifications

For transfer courses:

Any Master's degree with eighteen (18) graduate hours appropriate to the content of the course in which they are teaching is required.

OR

A Master's degree in the discipline related to the course in which they are teaching is required

For occupational courses that do not transfer:

* 2000+ hours of verified work experience in the content of the course in which they are teaching

* Successful teaching in a community college setting is preferred.
