ANTICIPATED OPENING:
Hinsdale District 86 is looking for an American Sign Language Teacher at Hinsdale Central & South High School for the school year. The ideal candidate possesses strong content knowledge and the willingness and ability to teach students at differing academic levels across the discipline. This position is within the World Language Department and may teach a variety of courses, including ASL 1-2.
TIMELINE:
Anticipated openings will be posted on the District 86 website in January 2025. Screener interviews are scheduled to begin in late February. Interested candidates should submit a completed application by February 20, 2026, for review. No interviews will occur prior to this time.
Qualifications/
Skills:
Candidates must have a valid State of Illinois PEL.
Ideal candidates may have one or more of the following to support the needs of the department/school:

* Experience teaching ASL
