Preschool Teacher

Location: Mount Pulaski

Duties

Teach preschool age children in a classroom setting. Looking forward to future years, the position description may change to reflect enrollment needs.

At Zion the teaching staff is expected to:

* Communicate classroom news to parents on a regular basis

* Arrange field trips and speakers

* Plan the curriculum and make weekly lesson plans

* Attend required staff meetings and training sessions.

* Attend required school activities

* Attend worship services regularly at the church of your membership.

Zion is looking for a candidate that can:

* Construct and promote a safe learning environment

* Build relationships - student-student, student-adult, student-Jesus

* Teach the curriculum with creativity and innovation using curriculum guidelines, textbooks, supplementary materials and available technology

* Observe and maintain student records
