Sowers Elementary School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Third Grade Teacher to join our collaborative school community. This position is ideal for an educator who is passionate about elementary instruction, looking to grow and work in a dedicated and family oriented district and community, and committed to supporting the academic and social-emotional growth of all students.
Position Responsibilities- Deliver engaging instruction aligned with state standards
- Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
- Assess student learning and use data to guide instruction
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress
- Collaborate with grade-level team and school staff
- Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field
- Valid state elementary teaching certification
- Strong classroom management and instructional skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
