Postdoctoral Scholar of Chemistry Education Research, College of Science
The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) invites applications for the position of Postdoctoral Scholar of Chemistry Education Research (R0150117). Only one position is available.
Responsibilities- Conduct research in line with the Principal Investigator’s research program and propose independent projects.
- Write and publish manuscripts, collect and analyze data, and assist with grant proposal writing.
- Provide mentorship to incoming graduate and undergraduate students in the group.
- Participate in research methodology training and grant writing workshops as guided by the PI.
- PhD in Chemistry Education Research or a related field (ABD candidates considered).
- Experience in scientific/academic writing.
- Proficiency in research methodology (quantitative or mixed methods).
- Experience with statistical software such as R, Mplus, or SPSS.
- Knowledge of statistical and educational measurement.
- Understanding of common motivational frameworks.
- Experience with qualitative methodologies and analyses.
- Demonstrated leadership and independent work.
- Commitment to diversity and campus values.
Salary range: $55,000 – $75,000, or commensurate with the appointing authority’s availability of funds.
