Adjuncts are hired on a course basis each term.

Salary Range for Adjuncts teaching in this academic area is $500.00 - $3,750.00 per course.

Governors State University's seeks to create an available pool of Adjunct Faculty candidates to teach courses in our .

At Governors State University, adjunct faculty are hired as temporary faculty with teaching responsibilities for a specific course in a semester or summer session. Adjunct appointments are instructional in nature, not a part of the faculty bargaining unit, and not included in membership of the Faculty Senate.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master's degree.
• Experience teaching undergraduate courses at an accredited institution.

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctoral degree.
• Experience teaching online at an accredited institution.
