Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a school-based social worker supporting high school students in a welcoming setting near Chillicothe, IL. From August 2026 through May 2027, you'll collaborate with dedicated educators to deliver vital services that enhance students' well-being and academic success. This full-time, campus-based position serves one high school, working with teens in 9th through 12th grade.

Ideal candidates bring prior experience supporting high school-age students and a strong ability to coordinate Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) initiatives. Your exceptional communication and teamwork skills, as well as your track record of building partnerships with outside agencies, will allow you to make a real difference in students' lives.

Qualifications:

• Valid and current School Social Worker endorsement or license
• Demonstrated experience with high school populations, preferably in educational settings
• Proficiency with SEL screening and implementation
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Strong background partnering with community-based agencies

Key Responsibilities:

• Address social work needs for both 504 plan and general education students
• Participate actively in 504 team meetings to support student accommodations
• Coordinate SEL screener information for the entire high school population
• Collaborate with external organizations to ensure holistic student support
• Maintain up-to-date and confidential student records in compliance with school policies
