Kindergarten Teaching Position
Indian Creek CUSD 425 has an opening for a Kindergarten teaching position at Indian Creek Elementary School for the school year. Indian Creek CUSD 425 is a small, rural school district with fewer than 800 students PreK - 12 just south of DeKalb and west of Naperville/Aurora. Our supportive community values education, we have beautiful facilities with the resources teachers need, and our students positively engage with and respect our teachers. We seek teachers who will prioritize students over content; want to build relationships with students, staff, and parents;
think outside the box when delivering instruction; challenge students through not only hands-on but also minds-on learning; contribute to a positive culture where kindness and connectedness prevail; and truly have the students' best interests in mind when making all decisions.
Candidates must have the appropriate certificate/endorsements to teach elementary. The candidate must be prepared to challenge and support our students to foster their individual growth and development both academically and socially.
