- Create a safe engaging and nurturing learning environment for children and staff
- Oversee daily school operations ensuring compliance with state licensing and Montessori standards
- Manage budgets and financial planning in collaboration with the owner
- Develop implement and manage marketing strategies to grow enrollment and build community awareness
- Hire mentor and inspire a team of Montessori educators and staff
- Conduct regular teacher meetings provide feedback and ensure ongoing professional development
- Support staff in curriculum planning classroom management and parent communication
- Serve as the face of the school building strong relationships with families
- Guide parents through the enrollment process addressing inquiries and concerns
- Facilitate school events parent meetings and open houses to foster engagement
- Maintain relationships with local private and public schools to align expectations for students
- Ensure compliance with Montessori accreditation standards and state regulations
- Stay informed on the latest early childhood education trends and best practices
- Must meet or exceed DCFS Director requirements
- Experience in a licensed childcare facility preferably in administration
- Strong leadership organizational and communication skills
- Background in Montessori education or willingness to embrace the philosophy
- We will provide Montessori training if you do not already have it
