Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students and their families as a School Social Worker through a contract opportunity located near Mahomet, IL. This position offers the chance to work closely with young people, educators, and parents to foster a supportive, inclusive school environment. With two full-time roles available, each at 35 hours per week, you'll have the platform to deliver essential services and interventions that truly matter.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Professional experience as a School Social Worker or in a related educational setting
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Social Worker
- Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and implementing supportive strategies for students
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and outside agencies
- Compassionate, solution-oriented approach with excellent organizational abilities
- Provide individual and group counseling to students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
- Collaborate with educators, counselors, and administrators to develop and monitor intervention plans
- Serve as an advocate for students and families, connecting them to appropriate community resources and services
- Conduct assessments and maintain accurate, confidential records
- Support school-wide initiatives that promote positive mental health and a safe learning environment
- Grow your professional skills supporting diverse student populations
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams and make measurable contributions to students' academic and emotional success
- Experience a dynamic, supportive contract assignment with consistent weekly hours
