Description
Adjuncts are hired on a course basis each term. Governors State University’s College of Arts and Sciences seeks to create an available pool of adjunct faculty candidates to teach courses in our Communication program. Courses taught by adjunct faculty are primarily for undergraduate, though graduate teaching opportunities may be available depending on qualifications and experience. The program spans Journalism, Public Relations and Advertising, Strategic Communication, and Critical Cultural Studies.

Salary Range for Adjuncts teaching in this academic area is $500.00 - $3,750.00 per course.
Minimum QualificationsA Master’s degree in Communication or a related discipline.
Preferred QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have experience teaching undergraduate, graduate, and/or online courses.
