Aircraft Mechanic Instructor – Inspire the Next Generation of Aviation Professionals! What You’ll Do
- Deliver dynamic, hands‑on instruction in aircraft maintenance that bridges theory and practice.

- Keep the lab organized, safe, and stocked with properly maintained tools and equipment.
- Manage key administrative duties—think grading, attendance tracking, and regulatory compliance—with precision and professionalism.
- Mentor students, track progress, and proactively address retention issues.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and instructor evaluations.
- Support our mission by attending faculty meetings, leading training sessions, and completing education modules.
Required Qualifications
:
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic Certificate
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience in aircraft maintenance
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong grasp of contemporary aircraft systems and repair practices
- Effective communication skills with a student‑first mindset
- Organized, tech‑savvy, and ready to adapt in a compliance‑driven environment
- Flexibility to work outside scheduled hours as needed
Preferred
:
- Associate degree in a related field
- Experience with Campus Nexus or similar student management systems
