Job Overview

We are seeking a part‑time Catholic Middle/High School Teacher for the 2026‑27 academic year at our center in Chicagoland near Lemont. The position is approximately 13–14 hours per week and involves teaching Algebra, Biology, Language Arts, and Latin in a classical Catholic classroom.

• Deliver instruction in Algebra, Biology, Language Arts, and Latin.
• Prepare lessons independently from home and arrive prepared for class.
• Manage the classroom in accordance with RCA standards.

• No teaching certification or formal teaching experience required; prior homeschooling, ministry, or working with homeschool children is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, organization, and timeliness.
• Traditional view of the student/teacher relationship.
• Lived experience of the Catholic faith and receipt of sacraments appropriate to one’s life stage.
• Ability to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church.

Regina Caeli Academy ((Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).) is a classical homeschool academy in the Catholic tradition that offers instruction in a formal Socratic classroom setting on Mondays and Thursdays. Positions are hourly and childcare/nursery is provided.

Hours are Mondays and Thursdays, 8:45 am – 3:15 pm. The role is part‑time with an approximate weekly total of 13–14 hours.

All staff complete a background check. Mandatory training is scheduled for August 3–5, 2026 (8 am–5 pm; no childcare provided during training).
