The Le Roy Central School District is seeking a full‑time 1.0 FTE probationary special education teacher with dual certification in science or social studies at Le Roy Junior/Senior High School beginning in September 2026.
We are seeking an individual to join our successful special education department. Le Roy CSD has a proud tradition of academic excellence and maintains high behavioral standards. We have a very diverse and vast course catalog that allows our students to challenge themselves and expand their horizons. The Ideal Candidate will:
- NYS Certification in Students with Disabilities
- NYS Dual Certification in Science or Social Studies
- Manage the academic, social and emotional needs of students with disabilities
- Support the instruction and evaluation of students with disabilities
- Develop and support the implementation of the Individualed Education Program (IEP) for students with disabilities
- Serve as liaison between students, general education teachers, CSE, and families.
