The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Assistant Professor‑in‑Residence, Psychology (Forensic Psychology) [R0152297]. The position is a non‑tenure track, full‑time, 9‑month teaching post beginning Fall 2027.
Responsibilities- Develop and teach undergraduate courses in forensic psychology, including foundational, upper‑division, and capstone courses.
- Collaborate with the program coordinator for assessment, quality control, and program improvement.
- Engage in curricular development, course design, and instructional technology for online and in‑person delivery.
- Participate in departmental meetings, faculty service, and contribute to the academic community.
- Demonstrate commitment to inclusive teaching and support a diverse learning environment.
- Ph.D. (or ABD) in psychology or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Demonstrated experience in undergraduate teaching, with a strong record of instructional excellence.
- Experience with online course delivery deemed substantial.
- Willingness to work closely with the program coordinator for assessment and quality control.
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
ABD candidates will be considered. Credentials must be obtained prior to the start date.
