Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8 am—3:30 pm during the regular school year; 7:45 am—2:15 pm during the summer sessions (20 days in June)
This position is for the 2026–2027 school year, with an anticipated start date of August 2026.

School districts throughout the area contract with Easterseals to assist them in providing educational programs for children with autism and related intellectual disabilities.
We provide an alternative school placement for these students and help them grow toward independence.

Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation for this position falls within the range of $60,000 – $70,000 annually. In addition, SLPs receive an additional summer stipend for any day worked in June. The final offer may be structured as either an hourly rate or a salary, depending on the role classification, and will consider several individualized factors, including relevant experience, scope and responsibilities of the role, qualifications and credentials, talent availability and specialization, and organizational needs.
This range is subject to change in the future.

Position Objective:
The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at Easterseals Learning Academy provides specialized speech and language services to students in a therapeutic educational environment. This role is responsible for evaluating communication needs, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and supporting students in achieving functional communication outcomes. The SLP collaborates with multidisciplinary team members, families, and educators to ensure services are aligned with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and educational goals.
Job Functions:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations using standardized assessments and clinical observations; complete detailed evaluation reports.
