Special Education Teacher
Peotone CUSD 207U is seeking qualified candidates for the position of special education teacher at Peotone Junior High School for the school year. Terms of employment: 183 day contract, 13 sick days, 2 personal days. Starting salary : BA ($45,428); MA ($49,921); MA+15 ($51,239); MA+30 ($52,560) based on education and experience. Annual salary is regionally competitive with consideration of previous, relevant teaching experience.
Peotone CUSD 207U Board of Education pays the full employee share of pension contributions (TRS 9%), 100% of the health insurance costs for the employee, and provides a $50,000 life insurance policy. Full details and other benefits can be found in the collective bargaining agreement.
