Description
Adjuncts are hired on a course basis each term. Governors State University’s College of Arts and Sciences seeks to create an available pool of Adjunct Faculty candidates to teach courses in our Communication program.
SalarySalary Range for Adjuncts teaching in this academic area is $500.00 - $3,750.00 per course.
ResponsibilitiesCourses taught by adjunct faculty in the above program are primarily for undergraduate. Depending on qualifications and experience, graduate teaching opportunities may be available. Adjunct faculty are hired as temporary faculty with teaching responsibilities for a specific course in a semester or summer session. Adjuncts are not part of the faculty bargaining unit and are not included in membership of the Faculty Senate.

A Master’s degree in Communication or a related discipline.
Preferred QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have experience teaching undergraduate, graduate, and/or online courses.
