The teacher understands the core concepts, methods of inquiry, and structures of disciplines and creates meaningful learning experiences for all students.
Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNone
Duties and Responsibilities- Ensure actions align with Board policies and strategic plan mission statement.
- Participate in job training and professional growth opportunities.
- Perform additional related duties as required.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities facilitating active learning.
- Engage students in an inquiry-based delivery model of instruction.
- Provide a variety of learning materials and resources.
- Use diverse instructional strategies and technologies for a diverse student population.
- Apply equitable resources and instructional practices.
- Maintain accurate records as required by law, district policies, and regulations.
- Create and maintain a safe learning environment.
- Demonstrate effective behavior management techniques for all students, including those with disabilities.
