- Develop and implement strategic alumni engagement initiatives to strengthen and expand lifelong relationships with the UNLV Alumni community.
- Build meaningful connections with alumni by increasing participation, expanding volunteer leadership, and creating regional and affinity‑based engagement opportunities.
- Support the advancement pipeline through proactive relationship management, outreach, and stewardship of alumni engagement opportunities that align with institutional priorities.
- Manage regional markets and alumni segments, identifying, cultivating, stewarding, and growing engagement opportunities.
- Recruit and develop volunteer leadership, leading Regional Rebel Networks in Nevada and key external markets.
- Collaborate closely with Development, Annual Giving, college and school partners, Career Services, Athletics, Admissions, and other campus partners to create integrated engagement strategies that support philanthropic pipeline development.
- Monitor and analyze alumni participation, volunteer involvement, outreach activity, and engagement outcomes using Salesforce CRM and engagement metrics.
- Represent UNLV and the Division of Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement at university and regional events as a visible ambassador for the Rebels Forever alumni community.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- One to three years of experience in alumni engagement, higher education advancement, nonprofit engagement, volunteer management, community outreach, event management, fundraising support, or related external relations work.
- Experience in higher education advancement or alumni relations environments.
- Experience with volunteer leadership development, portfolio management, regional engagement strategies, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and pipeline development initiatives.
- Three to five years of related experience, including one to three years of supervisory experience.
Salary range: $70,000 – $75,000 per year.
