About the RoleThe Third Grade Elementary Teacher provides engaging and effective instruction in accordance with Catholic values and academic standards. This role supports our mission of growing disciples by fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that cultivates intellectual, spiritual, and emotional development.
What You Will Do- Instruction: Plan and deliver dynamic lessons that meet curriculum guidelines and address the needs of diverse learners.
- Faith Integration: Incorporate Catholic teachings and values into daily instruction and activities.
- Student Engagement: Foster a positive and respectful classroom culture where students feel safe, supported, and motivated to achieve their best.
- Assessment: Evaluate and monitor student progress through various assessment tools and provide feedback to guide learning.
- Collaboration: Work with fellow teachers, parents, and administration to ensure student success and community building.
- Professional Development: Stay current with educational best practices and participate in ongoing training to enhance teaching skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field
- Active Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) Licensure
- Commitment to Catholic values and the mission of Catholic education
- Strong classroom management and instructional skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
