Physical Education Teacher

Job Summary

Clinton Junior High School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Physical Education Teacher to join our team in a full-time capacity.

• Develop and deliver comprehensive physical education curricula that align with state standards and school goals.
• Assess student performance and progress, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, participation, and progress in physical education classes.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student performance and program initiatives.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in physical education and health.

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a related field.
• Valid state teaching certification in Physical Education for middle school level. PEL
• Strong knowledge of physical fitness, health, and wellness concepts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on educational trends.
