Role
Student Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for researching, developing, and implementing detailed annual recruitment plans for undergraduate, graduate, and PhD programs in collaboration with the UNLV Admissions Office.
Responsibilities- Research, develop, and implement detailed annual recruitment plans for undergraduate, graduate, and PhD programs in collaboration with UNLV Admissions Office.
- Oversee strategic and effective recruitment and marketing activities that support admissions.
- Implement a diverse portfolio of recruitment strategies to increase application and matriculation yields, including recruitment presentations, workshops, campus and off‑campus events, meetings with prospective students, calls to prospects, and career counseling.
- Collaborate with UNLV, CSN, external college admissions and transfer offices, and COE faculty and staff to deliver recruitment efforts.
- Engage with in‑state and out‑of‑state school districts to facilitate college pathways, transitions, career changing, and paraprofessional recruitment to COE programs.
- Develop and implement recruitment plans for targeted populations (underrepresented, non‑traditional, online students).
- Assess and update recruitment strategies annually.
- Maintain high internal contact with the Office of Admissions, Director for Regional and College Recruitment, and external recruiter community/contacts.
- Provide leadership on special recruitment initiatives assigned by college leadership.
- Travel both in and out of state and work irregular hours, including weekends.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- 1–3 years of experience in student recruitment, admissions, or a related field.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects.
