PE Elementary Teacher

Job Summary

Clinton Elementary School is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a full-time 3rd Grade Teacher. The ideal candidate will foster a positive and engaging learning environment that promotes academic growth and social development.

• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with state curriculum standards and cater to the diverse needs of students.
• Create a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation, collaboration, and respect.
• Assess student progress through formal and informal evaluations, providing timely feedback to students and parents.
• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to enhance the educational experience for all students.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and any concerns.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and enhance teaching skills.
• Supervise students during non-classroom activities, including recess and lunch, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
• Uphold school policies and procedures while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.

• Bachelor’s degree & a valid teaching license or certification for elementary education is required.
• Strong understanding of child development and effective instructional strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement.
• Proficient in the use of technology and educational software to enhance instruction.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for teaching.
