Position Overview
Assistant/Associate/Full Professor in Residence, School of Nursing – The University of Nevada, Las Vegas seeks a faculty member to undertake teaching, service, and scholarly responsibilities at the School of Nursing.
Role and Responsibilities- Teach nursing courses consistent with the applicant’s area of expertise.
- Collaborate with other faculty in course development.
- Use teaching resources such as Web Campus/Canvas to foster learning.
- Provide supervision of students.
- Participate in school, university, professional, and community service activities.
- Doctorate in nursing or a related field from an accredited college or university recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
- Must hold or be qualified to hold a Nevada registered nurse license; credentials must be obtained prior to the start of employment.
- Subject to a one‑time background check.
- Faculty rank will be dependent upon educational credentials, terminal degree, experience, and scholarly achievement.
