Assistant/Associate Professor – School of Nursing (Addictions Interdisciplinary Research Development Area)

UNLV is seeking a tenure‑track or tenured faculty member at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor to be part of the Addictions Interdisciplinary Research Development Area (iRDA) hire with the School of Nursing, School of Public Health, and College of Liberal Arts/Department of Psychology.

• Teach undergraduate and graduate nursing courses consistent with area of expertise.
• Collaborate with other faculty in course development.
• Use teaching resources such as Web Campus/Canvas to foster learning.
• Provide student supervision.
• Participate in school, university, professional, and community service activities.
• Engage in research leading to publications in quality, refereed journals.
• Seek internal and external grant funds.

• Doctorate in nursing or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Qualified to hold a Nevada RN license.
• Subject to a one‑time background check.
• Credentialing must be obtained prior to start of employment.
