Math Instructor II​/Tutor

Mathnasium seeks a Math Instructor II / Tutor to deliver customized math instruction to K-12 students in a supportive, student-centered environment. Using the Mathnasium Method, you'll assess skills, follow individualized learning plans, and guide in-person and online sessions that build understanding, accuracy, and confidence. Collaborating with a mission-driven team, you'll explain concepts clearly, track progress, and encourage a growth mindset while gaining practical experience in teaching, mentoring, and curriculum delivery with flexible scheduling options.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized math instruction to K-12 students using the Mathnasium Method
• Assess student skills, identify gaps, and follow customized learning plans
• Lead one-on-one and small-group sessions in-center and/or online
• Explain math concepts clearly and adapt instruction to different learning styles
• Monitor and document student progress and communicate results to the Center Director
• Support a positive, encouraging learning environment that builds student confidence
• Collaborate with other instructors to ensure consistent curriculum delivery
• Maintain a safe, orderly, and engaging instructional space
