- Deliver technical training programs and courses in the assigned area
- Coach repair center staff, especially technicians, to ensure vehicles are repaired properly and safely
- Work with regional and market leadership to identify issues that may improve technical capabilities and skills
- Ensure consistent execution of the WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan
- Complete and retain all training documentation
- Follow company expense-control and expense-documentation policies
- Maintain company assets, including trainer’s tools
- Visit repair centers to assess technical capabilities through observation, experience, and dialogue
- Coach technicians on applying technical skills and building repair-process efficiencies
- Recommend classes with technicians, repair center general managers, and market leaders
- Monitor and coach for full compliance with QC processes
- Assess repair-center tools and equipment and provide documented feedback when upgrades or repairs are needed
- Assist in developing technician trainees at fixed training centers and/or with trainees
- Develop and improve technical training clinics
- Coordinate with other technical trainers to ensure consistent messaging across the repair network
- Keep current on advancements in repair processes and techniques
- Perform program assessments, training, and coaching
- At least 5-7 years industry experience
- At least 2 years experience delivering training is preferred
- Completed course of studies at a post-secondary school preferred
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Applicable industry certifications
- Attends required continuing professional education
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High level of independently planning and organizing work with minimal supervision
- Ability to communicate, motivate and cooperate with all levels of staff
- Knowledge of computer applications, including Internet, Google platform, and Microsoft Office applications
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the company’s auto liability insurance policies
- Must be able to travel up to 30%-70%, including some overnight travel
Demonstrates expertise in delivering technical training programs and coaching repair center staff to enhance technical capabilities and ensure compliance with quality control processes. Proficient in assessing and improving repair processes while maintaining effective communication and organization skills.
