The Department has part-time adjunct positions available particularly for courses such as Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Neurobiology, Ecology and Evolution.

• Functions include, but are not limited to, teaching assigned course(s), maintaining student attendance records, and holding regularly scheduled office hours.

• Prior teaching experience strongly preferred. Prior teaching experience at the collegiate level is a plus.

• $2668 per contact hour (USD)

Period Activity Grade

NJIT considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, or other items.
