Key Responsibilities
The Department of Sociology seeks an adjunct criminal justice instructor for a face-to-face evening class. Area of specialization should involve law, policing, or corrections. Course will be a 16 week session that meets Wednesday 6-8:50.
Required Qualifications:- A Master’s degree or higher in sociology, criminal justice or a closely related field. Juris Doctorates will also be considered.
- Prior college teaching experience
Regular pay rate: $2,145.00 for each 3-hour course, per semester. Higher rates may apply for larger course enrollments, labs, or other duties.
Online/remote teaching opportunities may exist dependent on the needs of the course. Applicants interested in online/remote opportunities must reside in the following states: IL, CA, FL, TN, KY.
