The Fowler Ridge Wind Farm is a wind farm in Benton County, Indiana, near the city of Fowler, IN about 30 miles northwest of Lafayette and 90 miles northwest of Indianapolis.
It is one of the largest wind farms in North America.
In this position you’ll use your skills and experience to perform scheduled service, fault analysis/troubleshooting, and potential main component, or blade work on wind turbines. During a typical day, you will work at heights and in confined spaces, while being exposed to the elements of weather. At this site near Fowler, IN. You will typically have shifts 5 days a week at 8 hours a day, with overtime available.
You have available on-call as well. There is a long contract for this site with opportunity to grow and move up in our technician levels. The team here normally works in teams of 2-3 and typically will climb 1-2 turbines a day. Travel in this role on average up to 10 % a year due to assisting other sites as business needs require.

- You will need a safety-focused mindset
- Your positive attitude will contribute to your ability to work in a team environment, while being motivated and taking initiative in daily tasks
- You can identify solutions to issues with process of elimination
- You will bring 2-3 years of experience in transferrable mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical work; wind experience is a plus, as well as a wind certificate
