Compensation

• Expected Pay Range: $84,200/year to $94,000/year, exempt
• Bonus:
  May be eligible for supplemental compensation based on performance metrics.

The role is a Safety Manager at Van Drunen Farms to oversee safety programs across production, warehousing, and logistics operations.

• Plan, organize, and manage daily plant-level safety programs to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
• Implement and maintain safety policies, procedures, and corporate initiatives across production, warehousing, and logistics operations.
• Conduct safety training, audits, inspections, and job safety analyses to drive awareness and compliance.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, coordinate corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and track safety metrics, maintain safety records, and manage chemical inventories and safety data sheets.
• Partner with plant leadership to support emergency planning, drills, and safety reviews for new equipment and facilities.

• Three or more years of experience in a safety role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in a safety-related field.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices.
• Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage teams.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort using technical safety equipment.
• Experience in PSM, LOTO, or ammonia systems preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish a significant plus.
