Overview
We are offering a $2,500 USD GWO Sign On Bonus* to qualified applicants.
Position OverviewAs a Wind Site Technician you will ensure the smooth operation of wind turbines by performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and addressing system issues. Your work contributes to reliable clean energy for local communities.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and repair wind turbines with your team to keep communities powered.
- Adhere to safety protocols and perform safety inspections.
- Collaborate with your team to improve turbine performance and share best practices.
- Document your work and continuously improve operational processes.
- Accurately time code all work activities to support clear tracking of task duration, progress, and operational efficiency.
- At least 6 months of Wind Technician experience, or 1 year of wind turbine experience, or 2 years in mechanical or electrical fields.
- Highly developed problem‑solving abilities and an engaged approach to responsibilities.
- Safety‑conscious and committed to best practices.
- Ability to work well with others and enjoy collaborative environments.
- Physically fit, comfortable working in various conditions and at heights.
- Ability to speak, read and follow instructions in English.
- High school diploma (or equivalent), valid driver’s license, and legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Base pay range: $28.00 – $33.43 per hour, with additional variable compensation based on experience and qualifications.
Sign On BonusThe $2,500 USD sign‑on bonus is available to candidates who meet eligibility requirements. Details regarding amount and payment schedule are provided with the offer letter.
Physical Demands- Stand and walk for prolonged periods.
- Use telephone, radio or related devices.
- Visual acuity with depth perception, field of vision and color distinction.
- Stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl as needed, demonstrating hand‑eye coordination.
- Climb stairs and vertical ladders up to 100 m; supervise work in confined spaces.
- Lift, push, pull, and carry items up to 50 lb.
- Complete required safety training programs such as LOTO, Electrical Qualification, Fall Arrest & High‑Angle Rescue, Confined Space.
- Participate in all training courses, including controlled descent practical exercises.
- PPE and gear combined weight must not exceed 300 lb; gear may weigh up to 40 lb.
