We are offering a $2,500 USD GWO sign‑on bonus and a competitive hourly rate of $28.00–$33.43, plus potential performance bonuses. The role focuses on maintaining and troubleshooting wind turbines to ensure safe and reliable operation.
Responsibilities- Maintain and repair wind turbines with the team to keep communities powered.
- Adhere to safety protocols and conduct safety inspections.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve turbine performance and share best practices.
- Document work and continuously improve operational processes.
- Accurately time‑code all work activities to support clear tracking of task duration, progress, and operational efficiency.
- At least 6 months with a Wind Technician certificate, or 1 year of wind turbine experience, or 2 years in mechanical or electrical fields.
- Highly developed problem‑solving abilities and an engaged approach to responsibilities.
- Safety‑conscious and committed to best practices.
- Ability to work well with others and in collaborative environments.
- Physically fit, comfortable working in various conditions and at heights.
- Ability to speak, read, and follow instructions in English.
- High school diploma (or equivalent), a valid driver’s license, and legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Base pay ranges from $28.00–$33.43 per hour with variable compensation based on experience and qualifications.
Sign‑On BonusEligible candidates with Basic Safety Training (BST), Basic Technical Training (BTT), and Advanced Rescue Training (ART) from the Global Wind Organization (GWO) qualify for a $2,500 sign‑on bonus. Eligibility requirements apply; details will be provided with the offer letter.
Physical Demands- Stand and walk for prolonged periods.
- Use telephones, close‑range radios, or related devices.
- Maintain visual acuity and color discrimination.
- Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl as needed; hand‑eye coordination and manual dexterity required.
- Climb stairs and vertical ladders up to 60–100 m; supervise confined‑space work.
- Lift, push, pull, or carry items up to 50 lbs.
- Obtain certifications in LOTO, Electrical Qualification, Fall Arrest & High‑Angle Rescue & Emergency Descent, and Confined Space.
- Participate in all training courses, including controlled descent exercises.
- Combined weight of employee, required PPE, and gear not to exceed 300 lbs; PPE and gear may weigh up to 40 lbs.
