North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a
Warranty Engineer - II to join our team. The ideal candidate will facilitate the activities required to resolve warranty issues from conception to completion, and assist in warranty claims investigations, root cause analyses, and implementation of countermeasures.
- Verifies and analyzes NAL warranty claims via customer warranty systems, and coordinates the testing and analysis of defective products returned to NAL.
- Establishes cross–functional teams to investigate and address warranty claims issues.
- Reviews the reports on the investigation and analysis of warranty claims issues and proposed countermeasures prior to submitting them to management and/or the customer.
- Conducts regular meetings to report status of warranty claims with statistical analysis of failures, and with internal team members to track the timely implementation of required countermeasures.
- Works with launch teams, product design, and production engineering to address trends and design issues, and to monitor the establishment of countermeasures that affect our products.
- Creates and maintains databases to manage customer warranty issues, track investigation findings, and estimate future warranty claims.
Salary Range: $75,000 - $100,000
QualificationsYour Background
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a technical related field, plus 2 to 4 years of experience in Warranty Engineering.
Experience with an automotive parts manufacturer and/or an electronics background is preferred.
