Overview
Intech Anchoring Systems (Intech) has been supplying commercial and industrial contractors with geo-structural engineering products, materials, and solutions for 25+ years. Intech has an immediate opening and for a Civil Engineer with a desire to work for a quality company with superior products and a reputation for excellence.
Duties & Responsibilities- Providing technical support for the sales team and partners
- Evaluation of existing conditions including existing structures and geotechnical site conditions and determination of the best design approach for projects.
- Preparation of design submittals for various foundations, and ground improvement systems.
- Provide training to contractors on the design of foundation systems. Both in person and virtual.
- Create and modify drawings for our products as required.
- Maintains positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, and other employees.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Organization – Must be extremely organized and capable of working on multiple projects and estimates t be able to see all aspects of the projects to close, not allowing any details to go unattended
- Communication – Displays strong written and oral communication skills and employs effective listening skills. Must be comfortable making phone calls.
- Problem Solving – Work with field personnel and management to come to a quick resolution of problems.
- Background in structural or geotechnical engineering with 2+ years of experience, has a PE license or in the process to obtain.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (structural or geotechnical).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, LPile)
- Experience with geo-structural solutions and submittal reports is ideal, but not required.
- Self-starting highly motivated and goal-oriented individual.
- Excellent attention to detail with emphasis placed on quality and safety.
- Very organized with a systematic approach to tasks to achieve accuracy and efficiency.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills.
- Analytical with the ability to examine issues from multiple viewpoints.
- Commensurate with experience
