Job Title: Lead Expert Product Application Beverages
Location: Mont-Saint-Guibert, Belgium

Are you passionate about beverages and creating delicious, healthy products? Join our Beverage team as Lead Expert Product Application Beverages, a global role reporting to a Global Senior Leader and supporting our European business. In our centre of expertise for cold beverages, you will develop applications for customer briefs and proactive concepts using our Ingredient Solutions portfolio (nutritional solutions, colors, hydrocolloids, proteins, etc.).

Working closely with our Taste team, you will craft high-quality beverage formulations and help strengthen our global position as a unique solution provider through strong technical expertise and effective collaboration.

• Develop and deliver beverage applications across segments, performing hands-on formulation, testing, and rapid prototyping in response to customer briefs and internal concept needs.
• Serve as the technical application expert for the Ingredient Solutions portfolio, with clear understanding of ingredient behaviour, stability, interactions, and performance in multiple beverage matrices.
• Design and optimize formulations to demonstrate functional ingredient performance; coordinate sensory, stability, and analytical evaluations to validate results and generate clear technical evidence.
• Continuously review and improve the ingredient solutions portfolio for beverage use, working with regional stakeholders to align on performance gaps and opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with the global Beverage ISOL team, European Technical Service Managers and nutrition premix formulators to share learnings, harmonize methods, and leverage collective know-how.
• Document application work with robust data, prepare reports and presentations that clearly communicate results, and provide input on competitor benchmarking and future innovation needs.

• A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in food or beverage science/technology, with 5+ years of hands-on beverage product development and application experience.
• Strong practical expertise in functional ingredients and their behaviour in beverage systems, with the ability to design and optimize robust formulations.
• Proven capability to formulate, test, troubleshoot, and improve prototypes in the lab, delivering clear data that supports customer discussions and value propositions.
• Experience conducting stability, sensory, and analytical evaluations, and translating results into practical formulation recommendations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with short timelines, combined with clear communication and effective collaboration in cross-functional teams.
• Able to present technical findings confidently to colleagues and customers; fluent in English, with French as a plus.
