Chillicothe Metal Company is currently looking for a mechanical engineer with building code knowledge to join our team. We offer health and life insurance, 401k, paid holidays, and paid time off.

• Provide calculations and documentation to support the product design
• Create Submittal drawings for customer approval
• Create detailed fabrication prints for production use
• Create Bill of Materials
• Lead code evaluations and permitting processes

• Minimum of BS or AS of science in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience
• Knowledge of electrical generator equipment, UL-142 and UL-2085 code, and the National Electrical Code preferred
• Knowledge of code evaluations and permitting processes to ensure full conformance with state building/mechanical/energy codes
• Proficient in AutoCAD Mechanical
• Knowledge of MS Office
• Detail oriented with emphasis on accuracy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills. Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• AutoCAD INVENTOR (3-d) skills is a plus
