Job SummaryWe are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join a team focused on advanced battery system development. This onsite role will center on leading battery module and pack thermal system design, performing CAE analysis (ANSYS, Star-CCM+, FlowEFD, or similar), and maturing thermal architectures through concept development, validation, drawing release, and production support. The engineer will take ownership of components from design through manufacturing implementation, drive continuous improvement initiatives, support new technology development, and collaborate closely with cross-functional battery module and system teams.

- Mature the ongoing thermal system and take it drawing release and production.
- Develop new concepts and seek for continuous design improvement.
- Support new technology development.
- Extreme ownership of the parts from design, manufacture and production release
- Onsite collaboration on daily basis would be required with battery module, battery system teams
- Team size is 11. Team focuses on battery module development
- Office location in Mossville, IL.
- Years of experience: 8yrs+
- Degree requirement: Bachelors in Mechanical or Thermal Engineering
- Open to Master’s with 6+ years experience
