- Support production maintenance and field issue resolution for power electronics products
- Perform hands‑on troubleshooting of returned field units to identify root causes of hardware failures
- Conduct component and sub‑component level analysis (PCBs, sensors, power modules)
- Perform root cause analysis using methodologies like CPI and Fishbone analysis
- Obsolescence
- Supplier issues
- New sourcing requirements
- Develop and execute test and validation plans with engineering teams
- Work with validation teams to:
- Set up test environments
- Execute and analyze tests
- Complete validation cycles
- Document findings through:
- Technical reports
- Cross‑functional presentations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across engineering and manufacturing
- Focus on hardware and production support (not software/controls)
- Work under senior engineers (no people management required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (required)
- Master’s degree may substitute for some experience
- Open to entry‑level candidates with:
- Power electronics projects or internships
- Preferred experience:
- High‑voltage systems (
700V+) - Production or field‑return environments
- Strong knowledge of power electronics
, including: - Electric drivetrain hardware experience
- High‑voltage, high‑power circuit knowledge (700V+)
- Hands‑on troubleshooting and lab testing
- Component‑level failure analysis
- Manufacturing exposure for power electronics hardware
- Sub‑component lifecycle & sourcing understanding
