A well-established and rapidly growing engineering firm is on the lookout for a dedicated Fire Protection Design Engineer with a strong background in fire hazards analysis and fire protection system design. In this role, you will collaborate with various teams—including engineering design, construction, operations, and Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S)—to ensure that fire protection systems are effectively designed and implemented. • Conduct an array of fire protection tasks related to the planning, analysis, design, and construction of advanced fire protection sprinkler systems for new constructions and renovations.
• Develop thorough fire protection life safety code analyses.
• Review sprinkler system shop drawing plans with keen attention to detail.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, ideally with a concentration in fire protection engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial facility design, construction, commissioning, or operations.
• At least 5 years of experience working specifically as a fire protection engineer.
• Strong understanding of both new and existing structural engineering systems within non-reactor facilities, as well as the application of engineering methods and computer-aided engineering tools.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification is preferred, but strong Engineers in Training (E.I.T.) looking to obtain their P.E. within the next 12 months will also be considered.
